EXTRACTION HEALING TRAINING

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Participants
are initiated into the extraction method of healing, including how to see, sense and remove localized illness and pain connected
to spiritual factors. This is an important part of shamanic healing training. They will also learn how shamanic practitioners work in partnership to increase the
effectiveness of this work. The Extraction Training Workshop is designed exclusively
for people who want to bring shamanic healing work into their practice with others.
The training is not designed for people seeking only personal healing.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Leslie Conton, PhD is a Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Fairhaven College, Western Washington
University in Bellingham, Washington. She is a Teaching Associate for
the Foundation of Shamanic Studies in California, a practitioner
of core shamanism, and a certified Harner Method shamanic counselor. Over the
past 30 years, she has studied with many shamans from Papua New Guinea,
China, the United States,
and most recently, in Tibet & Nepal. Dr. Conton is a talented, inspirational
teacher and gifted shamanic healer.
PREREQUISITE: The Way of the Shaman Workshop (The Foundation for Shamanic Studies' Basic Workshop).
PLEASE BRING:
Rattle or drum if you have one, a cushion and or blanket to sit/lay on, eye pillow or bandanna, a journal & pen. Wear
comfortable clothing and warm socks.
REGISTRATION: $250.00 if received before February 5, 2010; and $275.00
thereafter

Note – Location & Accommodations: This is a non-residential workshop – meaning it is not required that you stay on-site at the retreat to attend the workshop. However,
there are rooms and meals available at beautiful Still Meadow Retreat (www.stillmeadowretreat.org). We also highly encourage attendees to purchase lunch on-site (even if you
are not staying at the retreat), so that you may relax during the lunch break – as each day is full with experiential
teachings. All arrangements for meals and accommodations must be made prior to
